I’m a contractor first. That’s the whole idea.

I began in the trades since 1992. I’ve been an installer, business owner, manufacturer rep, and tech entrepreneur. I’ve traveled the country teaching about building codes and proper installation techniques. All of that comes back to one place: your home improvement project, installed the right way.

What we do

Roofing and exteriors, built to code and built to last.

Roofing

Replacement and repair using manufacturer-approved systems and methods, the details that keep warranties valid and inspections clean.

Siding

New siding installed with the same attention to flashing, water management and code that goes into every roof.

Windows

Replacement windows installed and flashed to keep water out and the weather where it belongs.

Gutters

Gutters sized and installed to move water off the roof and away from your home.

Decks

Decks built solid and built to code, by a crew that knows how exterior work holds up through Midwest winters.

Understanding wind damage

Your roof feels more wind than the weather report says.

Wind speeds up as it's forced up and over a house. By the time it reaches the ridge and the roof edges, it's moving faster than the reported wind speed, and the uplift on the edges is greater still.

That's why the details at the edges, like starter strips, nailing, sealing and following the manufacturer's specifications, decide whether shingles stay put in a storm.
